      Parent-Child Workshop

How to Teach Self-Protection Skills to your Children - ages 4-9 years old -

-without scaring them-

In a fun, age appropriate fashion, parents will learn how to present, practice and coach

self-protection skills with their children.

Skills that parents want to learn and children need to have;

* How to determine what a stranger is

* How to be safe around ALL strangers

* How to escape a threatening situation

* How to get help from busy adults

* How to stop unwanted touch

* How to protect yourself from hurtful words

* How to deal with bullying

* How to be safe when you're home alone

* How to REMEMBER and USE the safety rules

To Register: The cost of the Sebastopol and Petaluma workshops is only $50.00 for the first child (including parents) and $40.00 for each additional child from the same family. The cost for the Santa Rosa class is $42.00 or $52.00 for non-residents To reserve a spot in the Santa Rosa  workshop go to www.santarosarec.org or call 543-3282. Fee includes handouts and refreshments.  For the Sebastopol and Petaluma workshops, send your payment with your child's name and age to:
